Heavy Lift project for General Electric

We collectecd a 105 tonnes Rotor from Dartford, arranged loading to vessel and shipment to Bilbao Spain. The Rotor was delivered in Spain, and the vessel waited in Bilbao and brought replacement Rotor back per Gearless Coaster.

Web Site

Freight Management Ltd launched their new web site, to ensure the widest possible audience for their services.  The web site was designed through close teamwork between Freight Management Ltd and deben.net, who also hosts and maintains the site.

Container Haulage

Because of the deteriorating haulage services offered by shipping lines, Freight Management is now operating a small container haulage fleet at Felixstowe, to ensure prompt port movements and the maintenance of an overall quality service through the Port.

Factory Renovation

Freight Management is involved in a viability study into the conversion of a derelict factory, in Essex, into a serviced office building for small companies to trade from, and the establishment of secure warehousing and open storage area.

Felixstowe Project Management completed

Freight Management have been recently involved with the Ships agency in UK for several Charter shipments of equipment destined for the Power Station industry.

This was handled at several ports throughout the UK and involved arranging discharge/labour and suitable berths/cranage at the ports, and onward delivery of the cargo to site for off-loading.

The cargo varied from small boxes to large machines/cases, both over-weight and over-height or -width. Arrangements were made to ensure that relevant permits were in place before the out-of-gauge/over-weight cargo was moved, as well as liaison with the delivery addresses to ensure that they had correct lifting equipment.
